Watch Out!

Lesson:  Live your life in Christ so you are not caught by surprise
Bible Passage:

(Have a light object like a beach ball.  However, if you are able to acquire small "stress balls" - foam rubber balls often printed with a message - use those and distribute the rest after the Moment)

Tell the children that must always be prepared to do what Jesus wants them to do.  If they are caught by surprise (throw a ball), you may not be prepared.  Sometimes you'll catch it (throw it again) and sometimes you won't (fake throw it, then throw it to someone else).

But if you are prepared - look at one child and say "Ready?", then throw the ball (and hope s/he catches it) - you can act in the way Jesus wants us to act.  One way to prepare is read your Bible.  Another is to listen to your Pastor and to your Family.  Can someone tell me another way?  That's right - Sunday School!  Let's go see what we can learn to prepare for what the world will throw at us.
